Privacy Policy.

Your workout history is yours. Here is exactly what we collect, why we collect it, and who we share it with (spoiler: almost nobody).

This Privacy Policy explains how Fine. Let's Do This. ("we," "us," "our," or "the site") collects, uses, and protects information when you visit fineletsdothis.com or create a handle. By using the site, you agree to the practices described here. If something below does not make sense, email us — see Contact at the bottom.

Information you give us

  • Your handle, email address, and password (stored as a salted hash — we never store or see your plain-text password) when you create an account.
  • Any workout completions, "Did Something Else?" entries, or notes you log, whether attached to your account or logged anonymously.
  • Anything you submit through a contact form, support email, or community post.

Information collected automatically

  • A session cookie that keeps you logged in while you browse, and — if you check "Keep me logged in" — a separate long-lived cookie that lets us recognize your device on a later visit without asking for your password again.
  • A CSRF security token used to confirm that form submissions actually came from our site.
  • Standard technical data your browser sends to any website: IP address, browser type, device type, and pages visited, used only for security and troubleshooting.

Information from third parties

If you make a purchase through the Store, our payment processor and checkout provider collects your payment and shipping information directly — we do not receive or store your full card number. See Section 5 for more on Store purchases.

  • To create and maintain your account and remember your login.
  • To save your workout history so it is there the next time you show up.
  • To send account-related email: verification, password resets, and — only if you ask for them — workout reminders.
  • To keep the site secure, prevent abuse, and troubleshoot problems.
  • To understand, in aggregate, how the site is used so we can improve it. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your workout history for advertising.

Your personal completion history is private by default. There is no public leaderboard and no ranking of members against each other. The community counters you see are group totals only — they never expose an individual member's activity, count, or streak. Anything you choose to share to the community feed is shared because you pressed "share," not automatically.

We use a small number of cookies required for the site to function: a session cookie, an optional "remember me" login cookie, and — for visitors who are not logged in — a Cloudflare Turnstile challenge used to keep out bots and spam signups. We do not use third-party advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. Fonts (Google Fonts) and icons (Font Awesome) are loaded from their providers' content delivery networks, which may log the fact that your browser requested those files.

Purchases made through the Store are completed on our third-party checkout provider's own platform, not on fineletsdothis.com. That provider collects your payment, billing, and shipping details directly and processes them under its own privacy policy. We receive order confirmation details (such as what was purchased and shipping status) but never your full payment card number.

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with:

  • Service providers who help us run the site — our hosting and database provider, our email delivery service, and our checkout/payment provider — each bound to use your information only to provide that service.
  • Law enforcement or other parties, only if required by law, to protect the rights and safety of our members, or to prevent fraud or abuse.
  • A successor organization, if Fine. Let's Do This. is ever acquired or merged — you would be notified first.

We keep your account and workout history for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we remove your identifying information and disassociate your completion history from you within a reasonable time, except where we must retain records for legal, security, or fraud-prevention purposes.

  • Access or correct your account information at any time from your account settings.
  • Request a copy of your data or ask us to delete your account by emailing us — see Contact below.
  • Unsubscribe from optional emails using the link in any email we send, without affecting account-required emails like password resets.
  • Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the CCPA or GDPR; contact us and we will do our best to honor them.

Fine. Let's Do This. is intended for adults. You must be at least 18 years old to create a handle or use the site. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If we learn that we have, we will delete it.

We use industry-standard measures to protect your information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), hashed passwords, and hashed login tokens. No method of storage or transmission is 100% secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we work to protect your information and will notify affected members if a breach puts their information at meaningful risk.

We may update this policy as the site grows. If we make material changes, we will post the update here and change the "Last updated" date above. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated policy.
